Fly to Cedar Falls, Iowa

The closest airport to fly in or depart is Waterloo Regional Airport (code: ALO). Each day this small airport provides two service flights to/from Chicago O’Hare Airport (code: ORD). Local travel can be assisted by using Uber.  

Parking

On campus parking:

There are fees associated with parking on the UNI campus Monday to Friday 7am- 9pm using either a paid ticket or a parking permit. You are responsible for parking fees required to gain a paid ticket or a parking permit. Standard rates are $0.80 per hour or $2.50 per day with a coupon code: 2001410. Guests are recommended to park at the Multimodal Transportation Center parking ramp map but ONLY in numbered stalls (wither either a paid ticket or a parking permit), or any Non-CP Parking Lots on campus (map of campus parking lots) (ONLY with a parking permit). Paid tickets and parking permits can be acquired as the follows:

• Paid tickets can be purchased at either of the two pay stations located adjacent to each stairwell in the Multimodal Transportation Center map or by Phone app (click here to view instructions). To use the coupon code in a pay station, follow the below instructions:
  1. Enter your Space # then "D"
  2. Select Coupon Code "D"
  3. Select Continue "D" to acknowledge No Receipt Screen
  4. Enter the seven-digit code: 2001410
  5. Press OK "D" (This will not appear until you enter ALL digits)
  6. "Authorizing" will appear
  7. Ignore "Please Collect Ticket Below" instructions. Main screen will reappear
     • If the "Cannot Authorize" screen appears, repeat all steps. If this does not work, contact your host.
• Parking permits can be purchased when checking in the Conference at ITTC map. Registrants will then walk back to their vehicles to place the permit

Off-campus parking:

1 HR or 2 HR free street parking is available along the W 23rd St (Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm)

24 HR free street parking is available east of College Street and north of W 23rd Street, which is normally shown as grey area on the campus map. Depending on where you park, it can take 5-7 minutes to walk to the Conference.

Recommendation for parking on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday:

Thursday: if arrives at around 4 PM, park at

• the Multimodal Transportation Center map using either a paid ticket or a parking permit (see On campus parking instructions above); Or 
• Free 1 HR or 2 HR street parking along the W 23rd St (the 1 HR or 2 HR restriction expires after 5pm); Or
• Free 24 HR street parking east of College Street and north of W 23rd Street

Friday: park at

• the Multimodal Transportation Center map using either a paid ticket or a parking permit (see On campus parking instructions above); Or 
• Free 24 HR street parking east of College Street and north of W 23rd Street (often takes at least 5 minutes to walk to the Conference)

Saturday:

• Free 24 HR parking in the Bartlett Lot map – the closest parking lot to the Conference: NO paid ticket or parking permit is required; Or
• Free 24 HR parking in the Multimodal Transportation Center map: NO paid ticket or parking permit is required; Or
• Free 24 HR street parking along the W 23rd St, east of College Street, and north of W 23rd Street (often takes at least 3 minutes to walk to the Conference)
